Project Manager – Maritime Industry (Government & Public Sector) IronMerge People is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client in the Government and Public Sector within the Maritime Industry based in Fremantle. This role focuses on Project Delivery and Information Technology, supporting the SEO team across maintenance, electrical, and technology projects.
Position Details:
Employment Type: 6-month casual/temp contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Location: Fremantle
Rate: $80 per hour + superannuation
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful execution from planning to completion.
Develop detailed project documentation, including requirements, delivery plans, and investment justifications.
Maintain project budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines, financial controls, and quality standards.
Engage with stakeholders to drive project success and maximise value realisation.
Skills & Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, or Project Management.
Strong background in project controls, risk management, scheduling, and change management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage change, negotiate effectively, and influence outcomes.
