IronMerge People are seeking for Safety Advisor that can guide and empower the business organisation of our client in the government electrical sector, using a modern, practical approach to implement and maintain an effective Safety & Health Management System.
The role requires the following:
Lead safety projects aligned with the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Business Plan to enhance systems and meet regulations
Assist in developing and presenting safety initiatives and promotional content
Guide investigations, including ICAM, ensuring timely completion and appropriate corrective actions
Provide input on audit and inspection outcomes as needed
Assist the Health & Wellbeing Specialist in rolling out regional initiatives
Education & Qualification:
Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
ICAM Investigation qualification or similar is desirable
Current First Aid qualification is desirable
Injury Management qualifications
The Successful Applicant Will Require:
Unlimited Australian working rights
WA Drivers Licence (advantageous)
Police Clearance (within 6 months)
Reside in W.A. – International applicants not supported at this time.
