IronMerge People are recruiting experienced Fixed Plant Fitters for a major FIFO project bringing a mine site out of care and maintenance and back into full production.
This is an opportunity to be part of a recommissioning team, working on critical plant and infrastructure as a site transitions back to life. You’ll be hands on with inspections, repairs, rebuilds on associated fixed plant equipment.
Employment Conditions:
Base rate – $69-$74 hr + penalties
FIFO from Perth – interstate applicants not considered
2:1 roster with 12 hour days
8-9 month project
ASAP Starts for 03/02 & 10/02
Weekly pays on Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
Recommissioning and refurbishment of fixed plant equipment
Fault finding, breakdowns and preventative maintenance
Installation, upgrades and rebuilds of mechanical systems
Installing centrifugal pumps
Reassemble Spintek filters
Refurbishment of cathode stripping machine, pneumatic cylinder, hosing, seals etc
Working to high safety and quality standards in a restart environment
The Successful Applicant Will Require:
Australian standard trade certificate
Be available for immediate start
Ability to complete a full pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol assessments
Unlimited Australian working rights
WA Drivers Licence
Police Clearance (within 6 months)
Reside in W.A. – International and interstate applicants not accepted at this time due to housing situation.
