IronMerge is currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a short-term contract opportunity based at Perth Airport. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to step into a fast-paced mining and resources environment and provide critical support across month-end reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement.
About the role Working in a corporate office environment, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting and planning activities, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities
Liaise with business stakeholders before and during month-end
Prepare month-end journals accurately and on time
Deliver commentary and analysis on month-end results
Partner with stakeholders to collate forecasts and budgets
Assist with financial reporting and performance insights
Support the wider finance team with reporting and analysis requirements
About you To be successful in this role, you will bring:
CPA or CA qualification
Strong working knowledge of Power BI
Proven ability to manage and interpret large data sets
High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
SAP experience will be highly regarded
Previous experience in the Mining & Resources sector will be highly regarded

Roster: Monday to Friday, 5:2 roster, 7.6-hour days
