IronMerge is seeking experienced Blast Hole Drillers for multiple FIFO opportunities across 2/1 or 2/2 rosters at established WA gold mining operations. These roles are FIFO from Perth and offer ongoing work across well-regarded open pit gold mining environments.
Available opportunities Multiple Blast Hole Driller vacancies are available across WA gold mining operations, with 2/1 & 2/2 rosters on offer. Flights are provided from Perth only, with departure days varying by site.
About the role You will be responsible for operating blast hole and top hammer drill rigs safely and efficiently in an open pit production mining environment. You will work as part of an experienced drill and blast team, supporting daily production targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety, equipment care and operational standards.
Equipment exposure highly regarded Experience operating top hammer drill rigs will be highly regarded, including:
Epiroc D65, T45
Sandvik DR10i, DP1500, DP1600
GD5000
To be considered, you will need:
Previous blast hole drilling experience in open pit mining
Experience on top hammer drill rigs highly regarded
Current Australian Driver’s Licence
National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and production standards
Availability to FIFO from Perth
Important information Candidates travelling from interstate will be required to cover their own travel to Perth, as client flights are provided from Perth only.
