IronMerge People are currently recruiting experienced FIFO Kitchen Staff & All Round Utility for casual pool roles across multiple QLD mine sites. These utility roles cover a variety of areas, including:
Kitchen & Dining Attendant
Housekeeping
Retail & Tavern
Industrial Cleaning
Roles are casual FIFO from Brisbane Airport, with 2:1 swings or adhoc leave cover as required. Successful applicants can commence ASAP following mobilisation and be aware that these roles are primarily working in Kitchen and Dining.
Key Responsibilities As a FIFO Kitchen Utility, you may be required to work across multiple departments including:
Kitchen & Dining – food handling, food prep, pot wash, general cleaning, dining room service
Housekeeping – accommodation, site facilities, public areas
Retail & Tavern – customer service in a retail environment
Industrial Cleaning – cleaning of offices, cribs, toilets and mine amenities
Essential Criteria to Apply
Minimum 6 months recent FIFO or DIDO mining experience in Australia
Flexible to work across all rosters (including day/night shift)
Ability to pass a full coalboard pre-employment medical & drug screen (plus ongoing 28-day drug testing if required)
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Current & Clear National Police Check (within 6 months or willing to obtain)
Current RSA certificate (or willing to obtain)
