Senior Estimator Join our client’ team as a Senior Estimator in their Perth office and deliver tenders shaping Australia’s major infrastructure projects.

About the Role You’ll take ownership of complex tenders, ensuring submissions are accurate, competitive and aligned with the client’s methodology and values. Working alongside the Chief Estimator, construction teams and senior leaders, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing major infrastructure projects across transport, defence and resource sectors. Key responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and review of tender documentation and pricing submissions
Identify and assess project risks, opportunities and market competitiveness
Source and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations
Develop build-ups of direct and indirect costs using Expert Estimation software
Coordinate site visits, pre-tender meetings, and stakeholder engagement
Manage post-tender negotiations and handovers to project delivery teams
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement in estimating practices
Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
About you: Based in the clients Perth office, you’ll play a key role in developing competitive and high-quality tender submissions across WA’s major civil infrastructure projects. Working closely with our Chief Estimator, project delivery teams, and senior leaders, you’ll combine technical knowledge and commercial insight to help secure projects that shape the state’s transport and resource sector landscape. A background in FRP (form, reinforcement, pour) and structural concrete works will be highly advantageous as you contribute to estimating for large-scale bridges, structures, and road infrastructure projects.
What you’ll bring:
Demonstrated experience leading tender preparation within the civil construction sector (Transport, Defence, Renewable projects) 8+ Years Exp
Proficiency in estimating software such as Expert Estimation with strong cost analysis and breakdown capabilities
Deep understanding of contract terms, risk assessment, and market pricing strategies
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to mentor and support junior estimators while driving team performance
Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent tenders in a dynamic environment
