Contract Specialist – Tier 1 Miner – Mon to Fri – West Perth Office 

IronMerge are looking to appoint a Contract Specialist. Based in our clients West Perth office this role will be providing maternity leave cover.

The Duties:

• Manage allocated contracts across pre-award, award, execution and post-award phases in line with HIO requirements
• Prepare and manage tender, EOI and contract documentation, including contract packages and award recommendations
• Coordinate tender activities, including pre-bid meetings, clarifications, evaluations, bid analysis and shortlist recommendations
• Negotiate and administer contract terms and conditions, engaging stakeholders and legal support as required
• Manage post-award contract administration, including variations, claims, payments, vendor meetings, reporting and compliance

Your Skills & Experience:

• Extensive project administration and cost control experience in mining
• Experience with mine, port and rail project or maintenance contracts
• Relevant degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Commercial or similar
• Strong contract lifecycle, tendering, claims and variations knowledge
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder, analytical and written communication skills
