IronMerge have immediate starts available within our Casual pool for Experienced FIFO Utility workers across the Pilbara, Midwest and South West regions of WA. These roles are FIFO from Perth and typically offered on 1-2 week swings or general leave cover as required. Majority of the work offered is in the Kitchen, therefore you must be able to work in a kitchen environment if requested.
As a FIFO Utility, you will work across a variety of areas including:
Kitchen and dining room service areas – Pot wash, dishes, cleaning, food handling and basic prep
Housekeeping / Cleaning of camp accommodation facilities and rooms
Mine site cleaning – toilets, offices & crib rooms
Tavern, retail shops or coffee making
Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and grounds
About You
Hold a valid WA C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (Unrestricted) – No Interstate, International, Automatic, Learner or ProbationaryRecent FIFO/DIDO experience in Australia in the last 3 months
Able to work up to 12-hour shifts across day or night shift
Comfortable working in remote environments (including hot conditions)
Able to multi-task and assist across departments
Strong understanding of safety and site responsibilities
Role Requirements
ESSENTIAL – Recent Fly in Fly Out or DIDO experience within Australia in the last 3 months.
ESSENTIAL – Valid WA C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (Unrestricted) – No Interstate, International, Automatic, Learner or Probationary licences will be considered for these roles
Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
Able to use technology at intermediate or advanced level to complete online training, onboarding & online timesheets via smartphone
Unlimited Australian working rights with a minimum of 7-8 months validity
Able to work 12 hour days
A clear and current National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain)
Able to work day or night shift as required
Willing to work across departments, including kitchen shifts if required
